Every engagement is led personally by Yohannes Tilahun — so you always work one-on-one with the founder, never with a junior coach or a generic program.
A Story That Starts With the Problem
Yohannes Tilahun knows what it feels like to have no structure around your money or your life. In 1990, while studying in Washington D.C., he faced eviction and a deportation notice — his mother witnessed his belongings being thrown into the street. That moment became the biggest turning point of his life. He went back to school, worked his way from a restaurant kitchen to Wall Street, and built a career spanning three continents. Today he keeps that eviction notice and deportation order framed on his office wall — as a reminder of where he came from and why he does this work. His coaching is not theoretical. He lived the problem.
The Credentials Behind the Coaching
Yohannes brings over 20 years of Wall Street and executive leadership experience to every coaching engagement. He is a Ramsey Certified Financial Coach and has held senior roles at Morgan Stanley, Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo — where he helped create the third largest brokerage firm in the world. He served as CEO of General Electric Ethiopia, expanding operations by 300%, and as Senior Director of Strategy and Chief Technology Officer at the Ethiopian Investment Commission, advising the Office of the Prime Minister. He was named one of the Top 100 Diverse Executives Under 50 in the United States by Diversity MBA Magazine. He holds a BA and MBA in Finance from the University of the District of Columbia, with additional certifications from Wharton School and Georgetown University.
